Wolfley Law Office, P.S.
We are a team of skilled advocates, dedicated to the successful resolution of your problems.
Lane J. Wolfley
Mr. Wolfley graduated from Port Angeles High School in 1971, the University of Washington in 1976 (with Distinction in Philosophy, Magna Cum Laude), and Brigham Young University School of Law in 1979.
Lane Wolfley is, by reputation and anyone's estimation, one of the finest and most skilled attorneys in Washington. His dedicated work fundamentally altered the course of trademark law in Washington. See: Here
Lane Wolfley has successfully settled million dollar personal injury lawsuits, and driven hundreds of trials to successful conclusion.
"I work hard for my client and for the jury. They both deserve justice and the truth. But I also am working hard to make change in our society. When a major verdict is awarded my client - whether in in the criminal arena or in a civil lawsuit - it makes people who have done wrong want to change, and our community is safer.”
Lane has served his community through various service organizations, The Boy Scouts of America, and has participated in so many local service projects, such as Paint-the-Town and pro bono legal fairs and activities.
His primary source of pride and joy is his family. He is proud to work and serve with his sons, Joseph and Kenneth.
Joseph B. Wolfley
Joseph Wolfley graduated from Port Angeles High School in 1996, and Brigham Young University--Idaho in 2003 (with degrees in Percussion Performance and an emphasis in French).
He earned a Master's Degree in Musicology from Northwest University in 2004. He fancies himself somewhat of an expert on 18th century castrated opera singers. Feel free to ask.
Mr. Wolfley spent the next few years as Professor of Music History and Music Appreciation at Southern Utah University in Cedar City before attending law school. An excellent teacher, Joseph Wolfley was one of the few professors who really felt at home teaching introductory music appreciation and history courses to undergraduate students. His flexible teaching style and nimble collection of facts have proven assets in court.
For Joseph, the rubber hit the road in law school. While working for the law clinic at Gonzaga University School of Law, Joseph was involved in both trial work and an appeal to the Third District of Washington - both for consumer protection actions. Both were a success. Joseph graduated from Gonzaga School of Law in 2011 and joined his father's firm.
"I come from a good place. The Olympic Peninsula is my home. These are my people. When my people have been hurt, whether through unfair business practices, medical mistakes, auto accidents, on-the-job, or through mistreatment by people we ought to trust - I care. I can help. I will stand up and fight for my client."
Joseph is a member of Kiwanis International. He is a proud new member of the Board of the Port Angeles Symphony Orchestra. He assists the Boy Scouts of America. While it occurred a long time ago, he remains proud of his Eagle Project of organizing the painting of the local YMCA. No doubt it's been painted multiple times since then, but still...
Joseph is married to his beautiful, artistic (and luckily math-savvy) wife, Jenny. They have four talented, witty and active children.
Kenneth J. Wolfley
Kenneth Wolfley graduated from Port Angeles High School in 2002. He then earned a Bachelors in Science degree in construction management from BYU-Idaho in 2010.
He worked as a professional in the construction industry for two years, working for local teams such as Kiewit, James W. Fowler Co., Primo Construction Co., and Watts Construction. He was a head engineer for the new Forks High School project, and proved a valuable money-saving asset to the Elwha Fish Hatcheries project.
Kenneth shifted gears at this point and attended Willamette University College of Law. He was the number 1 student in Constitutional Law class, a feat any other attorney will advise you as noteworthy and impressive. He earned his law degree in 2014 with an emphasis in Business Law.
He earned a second law degree, a Masters in Taxation (LLM) in 2015 from the University of Washington School of Law.
Kenneth's is set up to be the premier Estate Planning and Taxation attorney on the Olympic Peninsula. He finds tax intellectually stimulating, and is comfortable with numbers. His Estate Planning skills have proven valuable to a growing list of wealthy clients interested in securing their family's well-being and protecting their assets.
"I can prove useful in the event that a person or entity needs to defend itself on a tax-related issue. Whether the client is bringing a case against or is being audited by the the IRS or the Washington Deptartment of Revenue, I can help."
Kenneth is a recent member of the North Peninsula Building Association (NPBA).
Kenneth also served a mission for the LDS church. "My missionary work sent me to Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, Grenada, Saint Vincent, and Barbados. Most of the time it wasn't the warm sunny beaches that people tend to think of first. It was helping really impoverished families. My experiences in the caribbean taught me the importance of working well with others."
He is married to Odette Pamela, a skilled esthetician and nail artist. They are the proud parents of two happy children.
